After years in the corporate world, I decided to follow my dream and open a café of my own. I had no experience of running a business, but I had something more important: belief in myself and the determination to make it happen.
In 2019, I found a space in the Kubicon shopping centre in Bratislava’s Mlynská dolina. The café bore my name — Danielle — and became a place where we shared love, smiles and good coffee.
A year later, Covid arrived and I had to close. That experience taught me more than any business school could. I knew exactly what I wanted for the future — I just had to wait. I returned to the corporate world, but kept my dream with me.
When the world began to breathe again, I started looking for a new space. Today, I am proud to introduce you to C'EST LA VIE — in the heart of Bratislava’s historic centre, beneath Michael’s Gate.
